p-p-p-party
Last night was my first clubbing experience in London. After seeing some lame places we ended up going to Oxygen, which is a 3-level bar/club. At first the building was empty (especially the dance floor) but within an hour, the place was PACKED. I don’t think I’ve ever been to such a crowded party in my life. The drinks were delicious too, which is A+ One of the bartenders was super nice and gave us free drinks (gotta love when that happens)
All I have to say is that British men are well-mannered when sober, but far from that when drunk. Seriously, Sigma and I kept having to escape these weirdos who wouldn’t take no for an answer. After a certain point it just felt like I was being molested on the dance floor o_o
Also, when people say the Brits don’t know how to dance, THEY ARE NOT KIDDING. I was dying of lols the whole night. On the whole, I really like the London night scene so far. There is so much to do, so many people to meet/be molested by. just kidding about the last part.
In other news, I moved into my new room! It is surprisingly nice. I thought the country’s socialist approach to everything would make my accomodations shitty, but I guess not. I know I won’t get the amazing facilities we have in the US (which can be a good or bad thing) but I’m loving the location, my well-lighted room, and general cleanliness of the city. So far the weather has been great, too. I have some random registration stuff spread out through the week so I’ll have time (hopefully) to sightsee and explore
